About our brands: Dents

Dents was established in 1777, when John Dent established his accessory company manufacturing fine leather gloves in Worcester, England. It is possibly Britain's oldest existing fashion manufacturer. The company continued to grow under the guidance of Dent's two sons, John and William, and by 1833 Dents was employing 133 craftsmen and craftswomen at its factories in Worcester and London. In 1845, mechanical sewing was introduced to the company to assist craftspeople, and by 1884, annual production had quadrupled, and Dents became the premier glove manufacturer in the world.
Dents is known for producing gloves for the British Royal Family, such as George VI, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth II, whose coronation gloves were famously made by Dents. They have also been featured in several feature films, worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Skyfall, Michael Keaton as Batman in the 1989 Batman, and Jack Nicholson as the Joker in the same film.
Dents was awarded a Royal Warrant in 2016 by His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. Shop our collection of Dents gloves here.
